Kevin Jones’ Entrancingly Light Indie EP “Limelight”

Kevin Jones’ most recent EP isn’t just a record that you listen to, it’s an array of jangly quintessence which compels you to crank up the volume until the concordance of the soundscape consumes you. At the age of 18-years-old, the Indie Rock artist and producer already has the perfect balance of maturity and sweetly charismatic charm which makes his immersive compositions hypnotic from start to finish.

Even though the tonality is kept light, dreamy and melodic, the arrangements are kept ingeniously tight whilst Kevin Jones’ resonantly smooth vocals add layers of harmony to his music. Each of the four tracks on the EP by the up and coming artist is as viscerally stunning as the last. Any fans of Tom Odell, Elliott Smith, and Mac DeMarco are going to want to check out the Indianapolis-based artist’s fresh take on guitar-driven Indie.
