The soulful softness of the vocals gives the tracks a sincerity through the almost spoken word delivery, yet, there’s just enough melody in the vocals to allow Kathrine Brøndsted’s mellifluous vocals to fit in perfect synergy with the reassuring, restorative soundscape. The pacing of the singles allows Kathrine Brøndsted to gently drip feed you the catharsis of the soundscapes which have been produced to allow plenty of room for atmospherics in the sound. Any fans of Julia Holter, Bill Ryder-Jones, and The Twilight Sad are sure to appreciate what Kathrine Brøndsted has cooked up with her stunning 2018 album.
