“Lost Girl” is the latest Indie Pop single from up and coming artist Julian Roso, the single dropped on May the 6th giving us the perfect romantically indulgent soundtrack just in time for pre-heartbreak season (summer).
Instrumentally the track was left uncomplicated enough for you to really appreciate the way the less than archetypal Indie guitars fed into the mix. Yet, it is the synergy found between the vocals and the soft passive instrumentals which allow Julian Roso to take his sound to the next level. Although, I especially appreciated the ‘manic pixie dream girl’ imagery which Julian Roso was able to deliver in Lost Girl. Even though there have been plenty of similar odes to dysfunctional girls, it was still an incredibly touching single.
