Jamie Dance – Lullaby: Sweet Dreams are Made from Pop Debuts Like These

London-based up and coming Pop artist Jamie Dance has recently made his debut with his powerful EDM Pop ballad “Lullaby”. With a sentiment which kicks even harder than the 808s it has every potential of becoming your new Pop earworm, especially with the sticky-sweet choruses, anthemic build ups and fuzzy reverberant bass lines.

While there’s absolutely no disputing the fact that Jamie Dance is an exceptionally talented songwriter, vocalist and producer, there were a few hit and miss elements to his debut single. Kicking off the single with gratingly high autotuned non lexical vocables to introduce as a moody Pop hit definitely wasn’t the best move – especially when Jamie Dance’s vocals hold their own so well. Nonetheless, Lullaby was still a promising debut, and the evolution of his style is going to be well worth listening to.
