In The A.M. – My Sins: Palpitatingly Caustic Metal

Slipknot recently made the promise that with their new track they had gone back to their Iowa sound, to be honest, In The A.M. are closer to the mark with their latest single “My Sins”.

Around the volatile energy of the single which was released on May 9th, 2019, you’ll find a solid structure offering rhythmic fury which won’t give you much of a choice whether or not it creeps into your bloodstream.

The growls of the bass sit neatly along with the searing guitar progressions and thunderously intricate drum rolls. Yet, what will undoubtedly leave you will leave you captivated is the vocal range of what has to be one of the most talented Rock Metal vocalists I’ve heard in a long time. The energy which is fed into My Sins through the big choruses and following verses where all restraint is lost will never be something that can be depicted through words. My Sins is a full-body experience.

Very few contemporary Metal artists have the same ability to leave you cathartically enamoured by caustic resonance found within a track. If you were waiting for a time to start getting excited by In the AM, it’s now.
