When the first few seconds of an intro give you chills, you know you’re about to be treated to an exceptionally sonorous track. Which is exactly what you get from Rockabye the latest single from up and coming recording artist Hunjiya.
Rockabye is an experimental fusion of Electro Pop, Ambience and Soul by the globe trotting producer. With the landscapes of both New York, Miami and, Seoul weaved into the mix, it’s safe to say, Hunjiya is an artist with a style that can’t be matched. Usually ambient beats are good for very little other than slapping on a coffee house playlist. Yet Rockabye is slow and delicate at the same time as being resounding and hard-hitting. There is so much emotion weaved into both the beats and the vocals which sit perfectly together in the mix.
