HiL is undoubtedly going to become renowned for their distinctively fuzzy basslines and unique brand of Neo Funk Pop after the release of their latest high vibe offering of Soul with their latest single “Wine”.
Even though HiL takes plenty of inspiration from the past, Wine is still an incredibly fresh release through which you get the real sense that HiL let their passion flow without restraint. The vocals carry a fair reminiscence to the King of Pop, yet, Wine still flows with organic authenticity thanks to the textures found within the progressive soundscape. There really is no overstating with what the acoustic bass brings to the Funk Disco soundscape which spills plenty of euphoria.
