Up and coming Hip Hop artist Gud Cyrus has recently dropped their eagerly anticipated EP “Version Update”. While each track is a high-fire sleekly stylistic mix, there’s no better introduction to their sound than “Princess Status”.
The amount of cathartic expressive venom found in the lyrics and Rap bars in Princess Status is only matched by how much ingenuity has been poured into the beats. As far as we’re concerned, Gud Cyrus is well ahead of the urban curve with their grooving beats finished with polished Pop-style production. Opting for such trippy tones to bring the lucidity into Princess Status was a bold move. But it definitely paid off.
