“Sketches” is the latest distinctively fresh hit from up and coming Hip Hop R&B artist GR3YWXLF. Anyone who appreciates a smooth ambience on a lo fi production is sure to fall enamoured by the infectious vibes of Sketches.
There are plenty of Old School Hip Hop elements to the short and sweet hit which may only be two-minutes long, but it is the perfect introduction to the London-based artist’s charismatic and rhythmically-rendered style. Which is not only perceptible through the beat but also through the delivery of the witty lyrics which may be playful, yet that doesn’t retract from the potent catharsis which the Jazz-Hip Hop and R&B layers offer.
