Pop artist ESHMAN may be fresh from her inception, yet, it is already evident that she possesses a distinctive alchemic allure behind her style of downtempo ambient Electronica. It really no surprise that her third single “Like I ❤️U” hasn’t failed to amass plenty of attention.
Electronica may not be the first genre which comes to mind when you’re looking for compellingly emotive and cathartically transcendent soundscapes. Yet, ESHMAN was able to curate a digitally orchestrated single which carries the same poignant and pensive allure as the likes of Massive Attack and Portishead. Usually, I see repetition as a cardinal sin. Yet, with Like I ❤️U, each repetition of “like I love you” served to amplify the palpable passion which was put behind this single.
