There’s infectious, and there’s up and coming Pop artist EMM’s latest single “Freedom”.
Right from the first verse the sultry allure of EMM’s dynamically sonorous vocals hit you and lets you know that even after the single has faded out the atmospheric single will stay with you. The EDM hit has Urban elements weaved into the mix which drives the flow and rhythm behind the stylishly cathartic single.
Yet, there are few ways to allude to how EMM’s style both musically and lyrically take hold from the start to finish. The textural drops and build ups keep you eager to hear the next switch up. Given that Freedom is one of the most progressive singles I’ve heard in a while, there’s plenty to anticipate.
I’ll refrain from using the archetypal comparisons to other contemporary Pop artists, because with the ability to leave the listener so enamoured from the first hit, her organic style is indistinguishable from the rest.
