Never in my life have I heard so much Funk riddled into a Hip Hop track. The end result? Infectiously uplifting euphoric beats. There isn’t one audible ounce of repetition contained inside Dreamcast McFly’s latest tack Indigo Plateau, the seamless progression within the track is almost mind blowing. Their playful Grime approach isn’t something that you hear every day, naturally I was in heaven as I listened to the unpredictable beat switch up and the lyrical offerings following suit bouncing from soulfully sweet crooning to relentless rap flows. Potentially what I love most about Dreamcast McFly and what they put into their music is the infinite offerings of their charisma. Anyone can lay down bars, not everyone is born with naturally captivating charisma that every vocalist should ideally offer. The New York based Rap artists have a sickening amount of potential with their already radio ready sound. It’s beyond exciting to imagine where they will be in a few years’ time.
