Consider Me Phil – Monstrous: Chaotically Caustic Alt Rock

Any fans of Queens of the Stone Age are definitely going to want to turn their attention to the latest single “Monstrous” from up and coming Alt Rock artist Consider Me Phil.

While Monstrous may be somewhat lo-fi in quality to a QOTSA track, anyone who appreciates the intimacy a lo-fi production can bring to a soundscape is sure to become enamoured by the caustically cutting guitar notes which tear through the rhythms. The soft, yet intensely harmonic vocals also play a heavy hand into feeding the Homme-style magnetism into this track.

Monstrous is an indulgently chaotic track for the most part, yet, if you get your aural cathartic kicks from messy, heavy, and dark Alt Rock arrangements, Consider Me Phil is definitely well worth putting on your radar.
