Up and coming LA-based Trap artist and prolific production machine Clay has been dropping a brand-new track a day throughout October. While each tracks are a lo-fi testament to their witty lyrical content and their New Age approach to the genre, we couldn’t help but appreciate the vibe in “Runnin the Show”. The beats may not be overly complex, but they create a solid platform for Clay’s rhythmically flawless Rap bars.
The first thing which strikes you about Clay’s approach to New Wave Trap is their distinctively followable lyrics. Trap isn’t renowned for being a genre which often imparts lyrical wisdom, but with Clay’s bars, the reputation of Trap may drastically improve.
