Chris Eves and the New Normal’s Latest single “Inbetween” Takes Rock Back to Its Soulfully Rhythmic Roots

There’s something decadently archaic about Chris Eves and the New Normal’s latest single “Inbetween”; they’ve gone right back to the roots of Rock by slapping all the Soul and Funk which used to be intrinsic part of the genre.

But that’s not to say what they created was an assimilation of former artists, in fact, I can say with all certainty I’ve never heard a track unravel with such a sticky-sweet infectious Pop sensibility combined with such flawless rhythm. With the snare of the vocal hooks, the magnetism of the vocals, and the eclectic instrumental arrangements it’s easy to see why the NY-based up and coming act are having no problems setting themselves apart from other Rock artists.
