Carla Stark – Arsenic: An Explosive Convergence of Pop & Rock

We may be on lockdown, but that hasn’t stopped Carla Stark getting creative with her brand-new quite literally homemade music video for her aural storm of a single “Arsenic”. Pop and Rock may have converged plenty of times before, but rarely does it come as viscerally captivating as this momentous single.

With massive catchy choruses, high-octane instrumental hooks, and cinematic fills, listening to Arsenic is an unforgettable experience. If you could imagine the middle point in between Taylor Swift and In This Moment, you’ll be able to get an idea of just how resounding yet infectiously arrestive the track is.

I’m immeasurably grateful for artists such as Carla Stark creating cathartically connectable tracks in a disconnected world, and I’m sure I won’t be the only one gratified for her unapologetically expressive sound right now.
