What do you get when you mix the talents of an absolute powerhouse trio of artists with a level of experimentalism that almost makes Frank Zappa’s music seem archetypal? Turns out, you get something which sounds a little like Bushicks latest single Truffle Shuffle.
In parts the track has that traditionally sweet, rhythmically sultry alchemy of any unadulterated Americana Rock anthem. Yet, the New York based artists through in a little extra with their progressive tendencies and refusal to comply with the monotony of traditional song composing.
Instead, you can expect sudden attacks of intricate instrumental breakdowns alongside an authentically beguiling offering of unrestrained Rock vocals. At five-minutes long, it’s a slightly extended duration, yet, it’s worth every second as the instrumentals raucously roll through the progression, gaining more and more momentum as they go until you’re left with a cataclysmically concordant offering of chaotically sensuous Alt Rock.
