Up and coming Pop artist Bhagya’s upcoming single “Lustrum” is sure to enamour any listeners who constantly strive to seek out artfully explorative soundscapes.
The Pop single is as un-archetypal as Pop gets. Yet, the artist was never in danger of veering into aural disconcertment with her seminal single. With the instrumentals carrying reminiscences to Post Punk acts such as Magazine, the Fall, Gang of Four and the Slits, it’s safe to say there’s plenty of atmospheric textures weaved into the mix. And Bhagya’s vocals are alchemic enough to resonate as hauntingly captivating while simultaneously drawing you in through the magnetically playful, undiluted distinction.
