Belden’s latest EDM Dance drop Like Dreamers Do is a wash of hyped up vibrant beats that will get you psyched for summer. The Los Angeles based Electro artist Belden may be an up and coming singer songwriter, however she possesses all of the vocal maturity and domineering prowess of acts such as Warpaint, Policia, London Grammar and Angel Olsen. Her high-vibe sound is an aural alchemy of Electro hooks wrapped around her sonorous and deeply pensive lyrics. There’s a beautiful fragility to Belden’s style which creates a deeply immersive resonance behind the sound at the same time as being an electrically euphoric experience. It’s a mind mash, and I love it. In fact, Belden may be the most pioneering EDM Dance artist that I’ve had the pleasure of checking out this year. I’m fairly gutted that Like Dreamers Do was Belden’s first ever hit put out on the soundwaves, it’s going to be an impatient wait for new material.
