Through a sublime mix of R&B, Bollywood, World Music and Pop Ayaz Ismail’s latest track “Lights” was born. The emotively rendered release uses intricate scales to tease you into the raw essence of the single, even with a slow tempo, you’re in a state of anticipation for the chorus.
The Mumbai born, Dallas based vocalist, composer, and recording Engineer pulled together “Lights” as a melodically vibrant soundscape which will draw you into the unique textures of the multi-layered single.
I can’t say I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing 80s-inspired synth lines along with the constantly snaking rhythms of the distinctive Bollywood sound, so, the way that Ayaz Ismail created such an instantly accessible track was nothing short of impressive.
