Up and coming Hip hop artist Axe Samuels has made his debut with the recently released 2019 single “Wasted Times”. As you would hope from a track with that title, the instrumentals set you up with the perfect amount of atmospherics to allow the hard-hitting Hip Hop Trap track to resonate.
Haunting piano melodies combine with the harsh and bass-filled Trap beats to create an energetic mix, however it was easy to feel that the vocals weren’t right for the instrumentals which were striking from start to finish. That’s not to say Axe Samuels hasn’t got the talent, ingenuity and charisma as there is an infinite amount of potential to be found within Wasted Times and we’d love to hear more of it in the future.
