By large the Trap scene is dominated by male artists, so to hear a female artist stepping to the mic after creating a mix that blows her male counterparts beats out of the water is pretty God damn refreshing. Aurora Vice’s vibrant beats compliment her powerfully soulful vocal delivery to create a perfectly empowering anthemic hit. The LA based collective have recently released their 2018 EP ‘MANIC’, each of the four tracks on the EP flows through with an infectious high-vibe energy. The Trap Pop beat comes alive through the kicks and snares of the 808’ around the lush synths and catchy hooks that you’d expect from a Pop track.
