“Toxic Reign” is the fourth single to be released from singer songwriter ASH’s latest album. With so many up and coming Soul Pop artists emerging you may fail to see how you have time to add another to your playlists. Yet, ASH’s resoundingly unflinching vocal capacity and tendency no to hold back when it comes to the lyricism are just two of the reasons why her latest single deserves 3 minutes of your time.
In comparison to most EDM Pop tracks, ASH laid her vocals down on darker, heavier beats to contrast against the soaring heights of her vocal capacity. And there’s plenty of instrumental hooks to keep you immersed in the progression of the beats alongside the poignant emotion which comes courtesy of the narrative lyricism.
