Ananda Luna didn’t make defining her sound all too easy with their single “Play Dough”. The single is just one of the masterfully mesmeric pieces from her latest project “Ananda Luna” which includes elements of cross-generational, cultural and spontaneous collaboration. The Northampton, Massachusetts-based solo artist teamed up with a selection of other female artists who all brought their uniquely cathartic yet simultaneously vibrant different styles.
If you need any more motivation to sink into the soulfully composed Indie orchestration, there is plenty to be said for the harmonious synergy between the fluid vocals and melodic instrumental progressions. Whilst the drums provide an almost primal beat the piano and classical strings offer a Jazz and funk infused elements which carry a uniquely hypnotic energy.
