S.N.O drops fantastic debut darkwave track ”Psychopath”

https://soundcloud.com/seriouslynoone2020

US artist S.N.O (Seriously No One) is a new Dark-wave synth-pop indie singer-songwriter. She has just dropped her debut track that is moody and an absolute revelation. It’s called ”Psychopath” and you need to turn this up loud.

Psychopath” is about making the connection between the trauma we are exposed to and how those experiences shape who we become. Some turn out darker than others. The beat was also home-made which makes this even better. A socket wrench from the garage paired with a sturdy knife on a sharpening block from S.N.O’s kitchen is the backbone of the song and this truly makes the track so uniquely awesome.

S.N.O is completely unshackled now and this is a song that is brooding and thought-provoking. I love the vocals that make me listen again and again. Her voice is cutting edge and this is one of the more intriguing releases of 2020.

Chloe Chadwick confronted short-fused ghosts in her captivatingly all-consuming alt-rock hit, Temper Gene

Cheshire’s most promising singer-songwriter, Chloe Chadwick, has stepped off her international touring circuit to strike sonic gold once more with her latest single, Temper Gene.

The impassioned pop-rock soundscape that delivers a captivatingly all-consuming indie-country twang digs deep into the phenomenon of falling head over heels for someone who will only inevitably keep you under the thumb with their short-fused psychopathic tendencies. How she managed to stay true to her brand of unadulteratedly passionate song crafting while exploring such a dark theme is a mystery that only lends itself to magnetism.

Her ability to spin such arrestive melodies around the maladies of the contemporary trappings of sociopathy transcends talent to paint Chadwick as one of the most seminal artists of our era. Just one hit of Temper Gene will leave you with the compulsion to lose yourself in her diverse back catalogue, which was created with a little help from world-class producers, including Chris Garcia and Kevin Dippold.

Temper Gene was officially released on August 11th; stream it on SoundCloud.

The Way She Moved: The Industrial Cult Orchestra tells us the story of the contagiously dangerous smile on ‘Insane’

With a life-changing temptation that could unlock the powerful mind if you aren’t too careful who to trust with the key, The Industrial Cult Orchestra wonders about the almost-promises that made you think twice on the body-shaking new single ‘Insane‘.

The Industrial Cult Orchestra is an indie genre-defying group that like to keep things different and always evolving. They wish to form a bond with many people all over the world, in the name of breaking away from the way the current world is moving.

The Industrial Cult Orchestra was forged in 2019 between a Viking, a Celt, and a Saxon, who, being unable to time travel, and growing anxious about the increasing inanities of modern society, decided it was time a new cult was formed.” ~ The Industrial Cult Orchestra

This is the story about how a relationship can take you to places it shouldn’t – the message of an intellectual man who foolishly enters into a misplaced relationship with a mysteriously attractive woman – who clearly isn’t a good fit for his soul. You feel the tension and energy which could take you to a place you wish to avoid, loving someone who is actually a poisoned chalice.

It was clear that people needed refuge from the extremities of political correctness, blame culture, fake news, populism, and the growing extinction threat to polar bears. 21st century humanity needs a cult that is not only just about orgies and intoxication, but also peace, tranquility, and a general ability to live in harmony alongside psychopaths, politicians, thieves and other sources of anxiety.” ~ The Industrial Cult Orchestra

Insane‘ from The Industrial Cult Orchestra, is that rather brooding track which takes you to a deep place of thought. You recall the time you almost when down – or did briefly go into that dark place – which had you under the spell of someone powerful who could do anything they wanted, whilst you just froze and let them take charge of your heart. Sung with a deep tone and a wondrous soundscape, this is that ultimate movie-like story which can turn real if you don’t take control of your romantic movements in life.

Dan Saulpaugh – Mother: A Soundscape of Crisply Un-Catholic Cathartic Indie Folk

I know what you’re thinking, a track titled Mother sounds a bit Norman Bates, yet, after I checked out Dan Saulpaugh’s latest debut track Mother I was convinced that no psychopath could create such an ethereally sensual Indie Folk sound. The Folk singer-song writer has a uniquely distinctive reproach to his sound, he infuses an eclectic mix of elements into his sound. His clever lyricism “it’s cool not wearing shoes on holy ground” may just be the most Folk lyrics that I’ve ever heard. Yet, they go much beyond the aesthetic of a genre, they’re deeply entrenched in the New York City based artists own emotion.

Mother was released March 15th, 2018 by the ambiently inclined experimental artist who wrote Mother as a track as an ode to his own mother, reflecting on nostalgic memory and complexity of religion and relationships. Through the deeply evocative sentiment behind the track, you’re treated to a mix of Alt-Country, and Indie Pop influences that perfectly encapsulate the essence of the sound.
