PartyBoy Woodz – Wit My Possy: Pure Vibe Trap Hip Hop

PartyBoy Woodz has recently dropped his latest mix ‘Wit My Possy’. As I listened to the swag of the high-vibe mix unfold it was hard not to get caught up in the momentum of the Trap beat. I’ll be honest, it’s not all too often I’ll be so eager to get behind a a ‘baller’ type beat, but it becomes clear that PartyBoy Woodz is an up and coming Rap artist with an infectious persona and ability to create a tight mix. There may have been a touch too much reverb on the vocals, yet the Rap bars seamlessly fuse into the track to make Wit My Possy one of the hottest Trap beats I’ve checked out this summer. Given that PartyBoy Woodz is an artist with the ability to create fresh beats, I’d love to hear his future work tackling bigger and more resonant topics with his enviable ability to wax lyrical.

PartyBoy Woodz – Thought You Knew: An Insanely Enigmatic Offering of Hip Hop

Is Thought You Knew the hottest Hip Hop R&B Rap track dropped in 2018 so far? Probably. I haven’t heard any other artist with as much hype packed into their bars as PartyBoy Woodz did with his latest drop Thought You Knew. Whilst the insanely enigmatic Urban artist’s lyrical flow may have been quite heavily distorted by effects strangely enough it doesn’t limit the amount of organic texture that is found within his playful lyrical offerings.

Perhaps what I loved most about Thought You Knew was the fact it was so seamless I felt it unnecessary to dissect the sound in persuit for flaws because the overall vibe of the mid-tempo flaming track was so fresh. If anyone can make themselves stand out in the overly swamped Hip Hop Rap scene It’s PartyBoy Woodz with his infectious charisma which will make you fall in love with him before the verse even runs through in his sardonically genius anti-love song.
