Zoe Clark – Last One Standing: country-tinged upbeat pop

Poppy, irreverent, and clever, Zoe Clark – from the Music City itself, Nashville Tennessee – has a history of well-thought out, relatable tunes; ‘Last One Standing’, her newest single, continues that tradition, a country-tinged upbeat pop song with hints of what might happen if Katy Perry somehow crossed with Taylor Swift and a dash of Avril Lavigne, self-deprecating but insightful lyrics over the catchiest of catchy tunes. It’s humorous, emotional, and charming all at once, instantly familiar and approachable, whilst having a style and sound that’s ultimately unique.

Clark’s debut EP, ‘Lovers Mark’, released in spring 2020, garnered top reviews as well as getting added to over 140 Spotify playlists; now ‘Last One Standing’ has gone Tik Tok viral prior to release, with 2.3 Million views and over 30,000 presaves. It’s not hard to see why – one listen isn’t enough, it’s memorable, catchy, and snappy as hell. ‘Last One Standing’ deserves to be played. Often. And loud.

Alisabeth Von Presley’s Releases Pop Rock Track – “I’m A Wonder”

If you’ve witnessed such an adrenaline rush that gets you so overwhelmed at the sight of great dive from an Alpine height; a height that’s so far from the level ground but yet irresistibly interesting, and at the same time too dangerous for you not to cower at the thought of trying your confidence. If you have, then you’ll know the feeling that comes forth when you’re transfixed with such a music surge that can make you use a foot stamp to keep yourself aloft in its flawless motion.

Yeah, this song explicitly emits such degree of energy and it’s really interesting to note that the person that wields such a vocal power is no other person but Von Presley.

There’s so much energy in this song and Presley so perfectly worked her magic on this masterpiece making it look like it’s nothing. The sound at the beginning of this song somewhat leaves no clue as to what to expect thereafter.

The beginning of this song gives you that feeling of a perfect EDM and Rock performance whilst the song in its entirety gradually takes a subtle shift to become a well-weaved web in the genre of Pure Rock n Roll music.

This song is amazing on its own, and also unique to every of its attribute. Von Presley’s “I’m a wonder” can be likened to that perfect a soundtrack to an adventurous movie or a theme song can be used in running adverts on television.

For that brand new “Girl Power Song” to rock your ear in a grand style as you await the tidings of this festive period to splurge you with its beautiful aura till it’s officially 2018, then ensure that this song isn’t missing on your new playlist.

It’s actually a very nice song and I’m sure most y’all will be addicted after to trying to check it out the first time.

A&R Factory Present: Kayla Diamond

Toronto solo artist Kayla Diamond has shared first single “Carnival Hearts” off her debut EP Beautiful Chaos due this summer via Cadence Music. Listen to “Carnival Hearts”

At the beginning of her first year in law school in 2015, Kayla entered and won Slaight Music’s It’s Your Shot contest, which landed her a recording contract with Cadence Music. After winning the contest, she put her studies on hold to pursue music and has barely left the studio since.

Beautiful Chaos teams Kayla with noted Toronto based writer/producer Craig McConnell and is a look into Kayla’s life over the last few years with each track inspired by a different person. With a bouncy melody and soaring vocals on “Carnival Hearts” Kayla reflects, “[‘Carnival Hearts’ is]’ inspired by the concept of isolation and being lost in your own world. This is about me creating life within and from emptiness. I started writing when I felt empty. It’s a revival of something presumed to be unusable and abandoned.”

While prepping the EP, she has worked within the EDM community lending vocals for various DJs including Kiso’s cover tracks of Mike Posner’s “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” and Zayn and Taylor Swift’s “I Don’t Want To Live Forever”. She also teamed up with Anveo on the track “Feel Something”, which has hit 3 million+ streams on Spotify since its release in December. Those collaborations have received notable praise from the likes of Tiësto, Gareth Emery, Axwell and more.

A&R Factory Present: Jade Naraine

Jade Naraine is 21 year old Pop artist from Toronto, ON. After her single; Cause I Can’t Take Missing You secured a spot in the 2015 top 100 on media base in the USA, she released a pop/country single called; You Decided to Stay. Country music stations began comparing her to old Taylor Swift. Jade is now back in the Pop genre to stay, with her latest radio single; “Princess.”

Princess is a song based on a true story, about a young girl who’s life spirals out of control to a point where she can hardly breathe. Within herself, she finds the strength to fight the pain, as she holds onto the same dream she had as a little girl, and tries one more time. The song was written to inspire and encourage anyone who is facing any obstacle, whether it be; bullying, physical, mental or emotional abuse, emotional trauma, mental illness/depression, PTSD, girls feeling taken advantage of, especially in today’s unhealthy world, where it’s heartbreaking to hear all of the stories… where the media teaches women and men, that women are to be put low, hurt, pain… anything and everything, to never give up, stay strong and get back up because things will get better once you become wiser and realize that all that matters in life are the good things.

Jade says “I think it’s an easy song for everyone to relate to in some way. I really hope it will reach a lot of people’s ears and remind them to stay strong and keep shining, and to protect and stay true to yourself. I also want to inspire kindness, warmth and compassion towards others. It’s really what I stand for. I wish to tell my fans, I’ve been there too and that things will get better, that I am sure of!”
