Sawce is a music project with a sound and a set of aesthetics that are quite hard to really categorize. Their blend of electronic music is textural, haunting and highly atmospheric, with lush reverb tones, sparse beats and deep drones that add harmonies and depth to the mix.

“Years Ago” is a thought-provoking songs that combines the quirks of electronic instrumental music with the airy openness of instrumental rock. The electric guitars come in half-way through the music, at first introducing some gentle clean melodies, but later, allowing the lead guitar to shred away with some cool lead tones with an 80s feel – Think Steve Vai jamming with Explosions In The Sky, with Massive Attack providing a cool beat!

This song has a truly special vibe and an almost nostalgic feel. The main synth riffs are absolutely stunning, as well as the sweet, mellow overtones of the keys and guitars. It’s impressive how this song allows various genres to collide, including math, post-rock, chillwave and guitar-oriented rock!
